My name is Mike Brown and I write songs.

Many of my songs were recorded  by my good friend (and great singer) Greg Hester at the old Capricorn Studios in Macon GA . Those were fun times.

"Everywhere She Goes" is on a list of Top 20 Dogs Songs along side songs by Elvis, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Paul McCartney and more.

Pretty good company.

One song, "My Parents Think Fox News Is Real" plays over the credits in the documentary "The Brainwashing Of My Dad".

The song/video on this page is kind of a compilation of several old men I've known. Actually it might be about me.

The songs are all over the map so I can't tell you what my genre is.
